Epic Games and Virtual Heroes have announced a licensing agreement that will enable the US government and its allies to use Epic's Unreal Engine.
Announced in a press release, the deal will see Virtual Heroes supply Unreal technology to US government departments, agencies and units, as well as those of its allies, through a new platform, Unreal Government Network (UGN).
Virtual Heroes, a developer of serious games founded in 2004 which is perhaps best known in these parts for its work on US military training sim America's Army, currently has three UGN projects in the works.
